This is Violet and pony and aren't they just the sweetest. She really loves that pony and boy does he know it.... look at that happy grin on his face!! He looks like the cat that had the cream doesn't he. lol! Christine has used MME Lost & Found paper in the background and Spellbinders scalloped circle die for the main image and matt. The flowers are from WOC I do believe. Hopefully Christine will fill us in with any details I have missed.
A gorgeous card and so beautifully laid out. Thank you so much Christine for letting me show more of your creations. You have been working really hard and I am honoured to be able to show them to everyone.
I am off now to try and get my latest Crochet Lace patterns written up so I can put them on the blog. One of my followers and dear friend has been waiting an age for me to finish these patterns (I am fine at designing patterns and crocheting them, but writing them down......... that's when I usually fail). I have just one left to do, so keep your fingers crossed!
Have a wonderful day all, whatever you are up to today.
Regards Linda xx
Hi Linda,
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the crochet - I remember you posted a picture with your work before and I was amazed.
I like Christine's cards - my favourite so far is the 13th birthday one - so pretty.
Hi Linda,
ReplyDeletelooking forward to your crochet patterns. You have just reminded me a friend has asked me to crochet them a blanket, and I had completely forgot.
Now to Christine's card well what a very lovely card again. It really is wonderful.
I'm hard pushed to decide which one I like the best. So I won't decide. Because they are both fab in their own ways. Love that image so cute.
Have a great crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L. Oh by the way Linda thank you for your lovely comments on my blog.
So many little girls like ponies that will be a sure winner ! Another lovely card Christine. I like the muted colours. You are so kind to showcase non-bloggers work Linda. Without you doing it for me I would never have plucked up the courage to start my own blogging experience. Thanks for everything! Love and hugs from Christine. xx

Hi Linda..Love the image on this card...sooo cute..Looking forward to seeing your crochet designs..I must admit, I've only ever crocheted when I was young, when the squares blankets were in fashion! (showing my age now)..Would like to start it up again, so will wait to see what you put on here..:)..I got your email about card...:)..xxx
ReplyDeleteSuper card Christine, I love the image..cute! Reminded me of me as a little girl when I just lived for weekends at the stables, mucking out for rides! Lol Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteHi Linda - just catching up with me blogging - again!!! I love this card from Christine, it really made me smile. I have a half-finished embroidery of a little girl and her Thelwell pony - it's all in sepia and uses back-stitch so that's why its probably only half finished!!! Anyway back to the card - the colours are great and the flowers really make it stand out - lurve the rosette!!!
ReplyDeleteAs for the crocheting - I taught myself several years ago - probably 30 - and I haven't done much recently but...... and this is a big but I have to crochet some squares for a bed cover - the only thing is it is 1/12th size because it is for my dolls' house. Thank goodness I have a good magnifying glass.
Hugs to you Sue Pxx
PS Thanks for your lovely comments Linda - they were appreciated.
