I have been thinking about other things I would like to share with you on my blog and it started me thinking about the things that I appreciate in my life. I have always enjoyed music and I adore a good film, especially old epics and heartwarming tales of success or achievement; but I also have a great love for thoughtful quotations and poetry. I can, in fact, often look at another crafters card and see in it a song or film and on the odd occasion it has even reminded me of a famous quotation. With this in mind I thought that maybe this would be a nice little addition to the blog: A Though for the Day. I will not post one everyday or I will have to start crawling the web for hours to find ones that mean something. For now I will definitely do one on a Monday and then those of you who are not interested will know to avoid the early Monday morning posts...lol!!
Well as this week has been the beginning of my blog and I have seen such warm and welcome from each of you I thought the following was appropriate.
'The widest thing in the universe is not space,
it is the potential capacity of the human HEART.'
See you later with my card for today. Regards Linda x
Hi Linda
ReplyDeleteHave just discovered your blog and it's very interesting.Good for you. I have seen your comments on Bev's site and on Becca's blog so it's great to see your work. I like the idea of your quotes etc so I will certainly be here on Monday mornings! I am a fan of poems, inspirational quotes etc too. I have just added box frames to my crafting and use different quotes inthem rather than pictures. I hope all goes well with youand you soon have masses of followers!
Hi Christine,
DeleteThank you so much for the lovely comments. I would love to see your frames, do you have a blog? If not maybe you could email me a picture so I could take a look and, if you agree, I would love to showcase one for you on my blog. I want this blog to be about sharing not just me with you but you with me also. See my post later, it has something to do with showcasing and shariing funnily enough.
Best wishes Linda
Hi Linda, greate idea. Would like to know the origins if not your own thoughts. Anne

ReplyDeletehi Linda! I am glad I found your blog, you left me a comment on my mojo card but addressed it to Christyne. I am glad you stopped by but wanted to let you know you I am not Christyne. I adore your post, I am a huge fan of quotes, I have been hand writing them in journals for years.....it is something about paper with hand written entries. I hope you have a wonderful week!
